Scene Description

Morgan Freeman portrays Jesus Christ in the multi-dimensional costume scene “The Removal from the Cross,” inspired by the painting by Peter Paul Rubens.

The scene is set on the ruins of a Ukrainian village that has been devastated by bombing. Every effort has been made to recreate the details and atmosphere of Rubens’ painting.

The storyboard for constructing the frame is displayed on the right.
