The choice of Kharkiv for the first photoshoot of the global project was predetermined, as was the decision to make the entire project’s hero an outstanding Ukrainian.

During the battle of good versus evil, compassion is embodied by the life-giver. The one who does not seek refuge far from places where bombs fall from the sky, who does not pay attention to the time spent at the operating table, and does not name a price for a saved life. In such an understanding of goodness lies absolute wisdom.

On January 23, 2023, the Russian ballistic missile S-300 crashed into residential buildings in the city’s “Zhuky” district on the eve of Christmas. The structures that families had been building brick by brick throughout their lives were swept away by a giant explosion along with the residents. Many of these people did not feel the transition to the world of death. Others are living out their days having lost the ability to walk, see, hear…

On the blackened ruins of one of these houses, Eva Shamadova, a twelve-year-old volunteer from the Soul of Ukraine, an International Charitable Foundation, together with Sergey Melnikoff, pinned the Order of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker to the white coat of a doctor, awarded to the servant of Hippocrates in frontline Kharkiv by His Holiness Patriarch Filaret.

This honorably recognized the selfless service of Mikola Posokhov to the ideals of humanity.
